Solid Tumors - MAYO Clinic

New Phase is currently conducting an early feasibility clinical trial in Mayo Clinic Medical Center in the U.S. which started in December 2025, for its Sarah Nanotechnology System to treat stage IV solid tumors, using magnetic nanoparticle-based hyperthermia.
NCT07224464.
First cohort of 3 patients completed successfully, and moving forward to the 2nd cohort .

Sarah Nanotechnology system is based on proprietary Sarah Nanoparticles (SaNP), containing encapsulated iron oxide, and an Electromagnetic Induction System (EIS).

The trial is an open label dose escalation study for both SaNP and Alternating Magnetic Field (AMF) irradiation, that aims to evaluate the safety of treatment and initials signs of efficacy. Up to date, several cancer types have been treated, demonstrating an excellent safety profile with only minor transient side effects.
